Tom Beckwith FAICP established the Beckwith Consulting Group as a sole proprietorship in 1983 to provide urban planning, design, and development services to public and private clients throughout the Pacific Northwest.

Prior to establishing the firm, Tom held positions in a variety of other consulting organizations where he was solely responsible for the management of multidiscipline project teams and planning/landscape architectural departments. The firms ranged in size from 25 persons to the 4th largest architectural corporation in the nation.

Our firm annually averages $500,000 in fees ranging from projects accomplished on an hourly retainer basis to planning projects with fees in excess of $500,000 and development projects with construction costs in excess of $300,000,000.

We are solely responsible for all particulars including scope, schedule, product, and budget as we have been as the prime consultant on over 95% of our projects. We have one of the highest implementation rates in the industry as attested to by our project results, 37 planning and design awards, and client references.
